Drug companies are in the business of keeping people on their medication for life. This is due to the fact that they are money motivated rather than being genuinely motivated by interest in curing people of illness out of ethical duty and care.
Curing people means that they don't need to buy these product any longer and so these huge organizations, therefore, make less billions in profit. Consequently, these unethical corporations have a tendency to engage in dishonest and fraudulent marketing practices to get and keep people on their profitable but often harmful products.
It should be noted that all drugs are essentially poisons and an overdose of any one of them can cause injury and death.
These chemical products also have side effects due to the poisonous nature of the unnatural chemical compounds and the side effects can also cause injury or death.
Also there is a severe danger of harmful chemical interactions when different medications are taken with each other and this can cause injury or death.
But a more serious problem is that many drugs are themselves directly harmful because they are defective in the first place and "normal" use of them causes harm or death.
